Bernice Quan-Pe
For nearly two decades Bernice Quan-Pe has assisted companies in all aspects of book-keeping, accounting, payroll, and general office management.

Starting in 1980, Bernice Quan-Pe managed accounts receivable/payable and payroll ledgers for two separate businesses. Through these positions she learned all aspects of accounting and payroll processing in addition to a practical understanding of the necessity for accuracy, consistency, and timeliness in bookkeeping matters. Simultaneously, Ms. Quan-Pe became a Service Manager for Macy’s supervising over 35 sales associates in one of the busiest retail stores in downtown San Francisco. In this position she gained a thorough understanding of training, employee payroll issues, customer service, and employee and client dispute resolution.

Interested in expanding her accounting and management knowledge, Bernice Quan-Pe attended San Francisco State University and in 1986 received a BS in Marketing. To put her marketing training to practical use, Ms. Quan-Pe accepted a position with Manpower Inc. as a Service Representative. In this position she recruited and interviewed temporary employees, created and maintained relationships with corporate customers, and resolved accounts receivable issues.

In 1987, Bernice Quan-Pe was recruited by RKB Personnel for their busy San Francisco office. As Manager, Ms. Quan-Pe handled all aspects of staffing including recruitment, interviewing, placement, performance evaluation and any disciplinary action. She also oversaw and administered Human Resources benefit packages in addition to tracking profit sharing, unemployment insurance, and Workers’ Compensation. On an accounting level, Ms. Quan-Pe processed payroll for over 200 non-exempt employees and audited accounts receivable. As an executive with RKB, Ms. Quan-Pe continued to build and maintain relations with both large corporate clients and smaller, more single-professional focused businesses.

In 1998, on a part-time basis, Bernice Quan-Pe joined Korody Business Services. As part of KBS’s impressive professional team, Ms. Quan-Pe uses her expertise to provide small businesses with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping/reconciliation and payroll services. She also manages special projects and oversees the administration and management of several small businesses.

Bernice Quan-Pe continues to use her impressive and extensive accounting and management skills to help small businesses meet their accounting and administrative needs. In addition, as technology changes, Ms. Quan-Pe continues to add to her extensive portfolio of tools through continued training in MS office tools and newly released accounting and payroll applications.
