Bev Brock-Alexander
Bev Brock-Alexander has been working in the hi-tech industry since 1997 holding a diverse array of positions from product management to configuration management to training and currently, web development.

In 1984, Bev worked as an Assistant Buyer at Nordstroms, where she learned about retail buying, selling and marketing. While managing a staff and completing her duties as an assistant buyer she managed to be a top seller and often held the number one spot in the region.

In 1989, she began working at Stanford University where she coordinated The Optifast Diet Program. She then spent the next 3 years coordinating various eating disorder studies and drug trials while finishing college. Bev then began a career as an Education Coordinator for At Home Health Care where she wrote and created course materials for The Continuing Education Program for the nursing staff. At the same, time she interned as a counselor at California State University, Hayward Health Center and at the Womens Recovery Association.

In 1997, she began contracting at National Semiconductor as an Executive Administrator. She then moved to Apple Computer where she contracted for several years under several different positions: executive administrator, configuration manager and then product manager. She then settled down to start her own Internet business called BeyondGourmet.com. A Web site where visitors wallow in luxury without the pain of paying high prices for gourmet goods. BeyondGourmet.com offers the most unique gifts and gourmet products available, along with articles, recipes, wine suggestions and other interesting gourmet tidbits.

She holds a MS degree in Counseling Psychology from California State University, Hayward and a BA degree in Liberal Arts with a minor in Broadcasting and Women's Studies from San Jose State University. She sits on the Board of Directors for Rape Trauma Service and is a Founding Board Member of The Joseph Matteucci Foundation for Youth Non-Violence. In addition, she is an award winning video documentary producer. Bev brings an abundance of experience and skills to the table.
